MEETING MINUTES – JUNE
23, 2008
Goodlad called the meeting to order at 7:12 p.m., Monday,
June 23, 2008 at the
Members Present: Don Demulling, Dennis Early, Bob Goodlad, Brad Johnson, Stuart Nelson
Members Absent: Neil Johnson
Johnson moved to approve the agenda, seconded by Demulling, and carried.
The May 08 minutes were read by Demulling. Johnson moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Nelson, and carried
Treasurer’s report by Early:
ENDING ACCOUNT BALANCES $51,318.01
INCOME 49.18
EXPENSES 3,229.74
ENDING
ACCOUNT BALANCES 5/27/2008 $48,137.45
Nelson moved to
approve the Treasurer’s Report, seconded by Johnson, and carried.
Guest Speaker Craig
Berquist from Berquist Insurance explained the coverage and insurance expenses
for the
OLD BUSINESS:
Dam Report: Nelson reported that the dam and lake level
have been monitored on a daily basis. Nelson
will check on the cost of installing a weather monitoring station. Early moved that Stuart Nelson be named the
Dam Keeper with Dick Hoppe being assigned Assistant Dam Keeper, seconded by
Johnson, and carried. Nelson abstained
from voting.
Compressor Report:
Goodlad reported that the
compressor shut down once. Demulling
stated that the power went out which shut down the compressor. Demulling and Goodlad restarted the
compressor the following day.
NEW BUSINESS:
2009 Budget: The 2009 budget was set at $27,400.00.
2008 Annual Meeting:
Early moved that Goodlad be
named Chairman at the annual meeting, seconded by Nelson, and carried.
